Our Pastor

mz_pastorElder Cecil Harper was groomed under a traditional Pentecostal environment in Jamaica. He developed a love for Christ, embraced the Bible as the Word of God, and cultivated a genuine concern for humanity. He met and married his wife, Hyacinth Smith and emigrated to Canada where he took up fellowship with Mount Zion Apostolic Church of Canada.

Elder Harper was appointed Deacon by the Late Bishop W.A. Hall and later, in 2002, he was appointed Pastor of the Mount Zion Apostolic Church of Canada, Malton.

mz_pastor_firstladyTogether with his wife, First Lady Hyacinth Harper, the congregation of MZAC in Malton is blessed with a leadership team that depends on prayer. Elder Harper is a meek, approachable, and caring leader. Lady Harper’s love demonstrated in doing for others helps to support the ministry of her husband.

Under their leadership a Food Bank was established through the zeal of Lincoln Gillespie, one of the members, which serves the communities of Malton, Etobicoke, Brampton. God is working out good things for MZAC in Malton and with your support in prayer greater things are yet to come.
